Pleiades

Seven Sisters designs are made up of a grouping of seven stars in a roughly circular arrangement with one star in the center. Smooth Jazz

Try something new with your Banded Lemoyne Star technique. In this design, the star points are cut from background fabric and banded with color, but then half of the banded star points are reversed, creating an interesting star variation. Work with one background fabric or lots of different fabrics for a scrappy look like the cover quilt. If you go scrappy with your backgrounds, there are also instructions for scrappy background half lemoynes for the edges. Very cool, just like smooth jazz.

Switchback
