Deep in the Heart is the companion pattern for Marie Bostwick's novel, Between Heaven and Texas. It is the fourth collaborative work between Marie and Deb.
Just like Marie's character Mary Dell, this quilt is bigger than life! The Lone Star center (or the center plus the frame) could be a pretty quilt in its own right, but when you add those floating Lemoyne Stars around the edges, Deep in the Heart becomes a fantastic bed size quilt.
Not only that, but all the diamonds and stars are actually strip pieced so, other than the background pieces for the Lone Star, there are no Y seams required! Now that’s a “Yeehaw!” if I ever heard one!

My Doves of Hope project is a twist on a traditional block titled Dove in the Window. I actually nestled a small dove block inside a large dove block to create a quarter section for each 19½” block. Add sashing and cornerstones to those quarter sections and you have a great, interesting block. Put it on point, and that Dove really soars!

Another in the series of Marie Bostwick and Deb Tucker collaborations, Garden Dance is a magnificent medallion quilt designed as a companion quilt to Marie's novel Ties That Bind. It includes some applique, plenty of piecework, and no stars! Something unusual for Deb and maybe for you, too. So, choose a focus fabric, some coordinating prints and have fun making your own Garden Dance project!

This beautiful quilt was designed in collaboration with New York Times best selling author Marie Bostwick as a companion pattern for her recent novel Threading the Needle. In the book, a simple quilt is enhanced with embellishments by a long time friend. The combination of their work creates a magnificent quilt rather than one that is simply OK. Friends really are the spice of life!

This quilt was designed in conjunction with New York Times best selling author Marie Bostwick for her novel A Thread So Thin. A spectacular project, it uses a collection of hand dyed batik fat quarters and Deb’s Rapid Fire Hunter’s Star tool and techniques. A magnificent quilting job turns the quilt into a show stopper. Stormy Stars is the companion pattern for Marie Bostwick’s novel, The Promise Girls, making this the sixth collaborative work between Marie and Deb.
Construction of this quilt could be challenging just like the lives of the Promise Girls, yet with the aid of Studio 180 Design’s Diamond Rects and Square Squared tools, it’ll be smooth sailing when you dive right into this project! The placement of your dark, medium, and light fabrics will give you a striking quilt that looks like you spent hours piecing curves, when you only work with straight seams.

You’ll use two blocks, two tools, and two units to make Take Two, an eye-catching quilt that Deb designed for Marie Bostwick’s 2014 book, Apart at the Seams. You’ll use your Tucker Trimmer 1 and Wing Clipper 1 as you create this gorgeous quilt.
