The Eighth Inch Tucker Trimmer trims down 13 different unit sizes in ⅛”, ⅜”, ⅝” and ⅞” increments. For all the times when you just have to trim to an ⅛” increment. Use it to quickly and accurately trim down units that are made with triangles: half square triangle squares, quarter square triangle squares (hourglass units), and combinations of half square and quarter square triangle squares (combination units). It has multiple diagonals which allow you to align ruler guide lines with unit seam lines to quickly locate the exact center of pieced units. This makes unit construction easy, precise and perfect every time and it’s also handy for cutting those ⅛” squares from strips.
It is compact, simple to read, and provides the same great results you've come to expect from all Studio 180 Design tools. It is the perfect tool for those who prefer to make quilts using smaller units!

Eighth Inch Wing Clipper

The Eighth Inch Wing Clipper can trim down 8 different size flying geese that finish in ⅛”, ⅜”, ⅝” and ⅞” increments. This is the perfect tool for all those projects that call for these tricky size units. This tool and the associated Fast Flying Geese construction technique, allows you to make four finished units from five squares. The best part is that each unit is constructed slightly oversized so they can quickly be trimmed to a perfect size with perfect seam placement using the Eighth Inch Wing Clipper tool. Pleiades

As quilters, we seem to find inspiration for quilt patterns all around us. As early as 1845, quilts called “Seven Sisters” have been part of quilting history. Seven Sisters designs are made up of a grouping of seven stars in a roughly circular arrangement with one star in the center. The name Pleiades comes from a group of stars named for those seven sisters - the daughters of Pleione in Greek mythology. We hope that you will enjoy making our more modern rendition of this 175 year old pattern.

Pyramid Power

Using your favorite scrap fabrics and your Corner Pop II and Corner Pop III tools, create reflecting pyramids to grow your Pyramid Power. We recommend that as you pick your fabrics, pair each dark fabric with a light fabric in the same color. For example, a dark red and a light red, a dark blue and a light blue, etc. This will allow you to effectively create the shadowing effect seen in the cover quilt.
